PHOTOGRAPHY LESSONS & MENTORSHIPS
I love people, I love photography, and I love to teach! I offer private lessons and small group lessons. These are great if you would like to spend more one-on-one time, or if you have a very specific topic you would like to learn about.
April 8, and 15 - Commercial Phone Photography Class at Gather - A Festive DIY Studio! Cost $50 for one class, $95 for both. Click here for more info!
DSLR Basics class at Gather - April 21, 28, and May 5 from 1pm-3pm. A DSLR is a Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera - It's the big camera where you can detach lenses and set your own settings - not a point and shoot. Class will cover all the basics of using your DSLR - what do all those buttons mean? What Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO mean and how to use them. We will also talk about composition, cropping, lighting (natural, not artificial), and a few other tips and tricks! The basic point of the class is to get you off of shooting on automatic and into aperture mode or manual, so you love your images! This will be my eleventh Camera Confidential Workshop and every time, people leave feeling like they had a bunch of aha! moments and with a much better understanding of their camera. You must sign up ahead of time to have your seat reserved. Sign up on the Gather website here. You can sign up here!

Mentorships are for those of you who would like some advice on a professional level. Maybe you would like to ask questions about running a photography business, or perhaps you want to know about a specific editing technique, how to interact with clients, how to grow your business, or maybe you just have a bunch of questions that need a professional answer. This option is for you. The best part? If we don't live in the same area, we can Skype or Facetime, or just talk on the phone!
